Performance
I have found this pump to be great at providing the pressures I need in my road bike tires. Although the flip-thread chuck is really easy to use to pump up mountain bike tires, the gauge is difficult to use to get accurate pressures in this type of tire. If I wanted a pump predominantly for lower pressure tires, such as mountain bike tires I would definitely buy the high volume version of this as the 70 PSI rating is far more suited to mountain bikes.

Nozzles and Valves
The screw-on nozzle is reversible and so can be used just as easily with both Presta and Schrader valves. The pump also comes with a speed chuck, which simply screws onto the nozzle and all you have to do is press it onto the valve and pump. I have found this to be very useful for races when speed after changing a flat really matters. The speed chuck can also be used on disc wheels. The pump is not designed as a general use pump and so is not supplied with any other adapters.

Pressure Gauge
The pressure gauge is quite large for this type of pump, which makes it pretty easy to see even in its position at the bottom of the body of the pump. I have found the pump to be accurate for my road tires when pumping up to 120-130 PSI, but from experience I would check lower tire pressures, such as mountain bike tires, with a manual gauge.

Durability and Warranty
The barrel and piston of the Lezyne Steel floor bike pump are made from steel, providing great durability. The wooden handle and high-quality rubber hose are also designed to last. The pump is very easy to use. All you have to do is screw on the nozzle for whichever valve you need, and then pump up to the pressure desired. There is also an air release valve to release the pressure in the pump before unscrewing the nozzle from the valve.

Value for Money
The Lezyne Steel floor bike pump can be quite expensive and annoyingly the price depends on what color pump you want. I chose the black pump, which was just over $40, even though I preferred the look of the red, but that was almost $60. Therefore it is worth shopping around. The pump does represent good value for money, but in my onion the extra cost for different colors is not worth it.

As my workhorse pump for daily maintenance of my road bike tires and weekly maintenance of my racing bike, this pump is ideal. The pressure rating is perfect to be able to get up to 120-130 PSI easily. However, if you want a pump specifically for mountain bikes, you should get the high volume version of this instead.
