Nozzles and Valves
The Topeak Blow Sport floor tire air pump comes with a novel two-sided nozzle, one side for Presta valves and the other side for Schrader valves. While it is nice to have the two separated, it does make the nozzle a little large than for most pumps and so it can be a bit of a tight squeeze getting the nozzle into place and seated correctly.

Pressure Gauge
The pressure gauge on this pump is good. I have found that it is relatively accurate, but I do still use a separate pressure gauge when I am pumping tires up to a very specific pressure especially before races. Also, I find the gauge dial quite small to see properly at the bottom of the pump barrel.

Durability and Warranty
The mostly steel construction of this pump is great and will last for a significant amount of time. The hose I find to be a little disappointing in terms of quality as it is made of plastic rather than rubber and because I have bent it to use it, it has started to crack. Unfortunately the hose is not covered by the warranty, which is a lifetime warranty for the rest of the pump. There are simple workaround solutions however if you don’t want to purchase a replacement hose.

Applications
I have found this to be a great pump for a wide range of applications. I have mostly used the pump on bicycle tires of various sorts, but the needle attachment has been really useful for keeping basketballs and footballs pumped up as well. There is also a handy cone attachment for other inflatables like exercise balls and paddling pools.

Ease of Use
Over time I have generally found this pump to be easy to use once the seal has been made with the valve. Sometimes I have had a few problems getting a decent seal with some of the Presta valves I have had, but all it requires is a little adjustment in position to sort out.

Value for Money
The Joe Blow is reasonable value for money at $40. It is a durable floor pump and the only reservation I have about the value for money of it is the fact that I expect to have to replace the hose because of its material.

Final Verdict
Overall I think that the Topeak Blow Sport floor tire air pump is a good floor pump and that it is worth the price charged for it. It is ergonomically good with big handles and the additional pivot at the base of the hose is very useful to help to reduce the strain on the valve. The dual head is definitely a plus and should continue working on both types of valves for a long time.
